A downloadable game

Lost Waters is developed around a core of SINGLE-PLAYER HACK AND SLAY RHYTM fighting.
Its PROGRESSION system is ROGUE-LITE based, meaning you grind monsters to grow your Character stronger so you can survive longer to grow stronger.
For graphics it tries to mix CELSHADE TOON LOOKS with realistic animation style.
The story is a classic APOCALYPSE SZENARIO in which you take on the role of a new born species.

How would you feel if the world that you've grown to know would not exist anymore?
We write 3000 a.d. The Blue Planet ist not a source of life anymore.
Humanity has died with only a few survival-artists having survived the great apocalypse.
One of these groups of people are trying to survive on an old submarine whilst trying to create a humanoid species that can live underwater.
Some unterwater species though are trying to hold their ground after having claimed the entire flooded planet for themselves.
You must protect the human legacy and bring redemption to those currupted souls.
Carry your instrument as a Weapon and use powerful attacks to the beat to charge them with the power of music!
Will you be able to survive long enough to save a species?

Install instructions

Welcome to Lost Waters,

We appreciate that you are going to play our game in a couple seconds.
To play the game you first need to download the .zip file by pressing the Download Button.
Right after you need to open the downloads folder and rightclick -> extract all and choose a target location on your computer where you want it installed.
If you open up the unpacked Folder there is an executable called Lost Waters.
Double click it and the game will open up.

We'd also like to give you a rough introduction on our core gameplay mechanics and the goal of playing the game.

You play as Eir, a Creature that is the result of desperate humans trying to keep Humanity alive.

She just escaped from her location of birth and is now fighting for survival and make sense of the flooded world around her.

If you are interested in a prequel, that explains the circumstance surrounding Eir check out the Lost Waters Movie on our Website.

By using [RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON] on a location, you can move your character around.

Use the Buttons [Q] [W] [E] for damaging abilities to kill approaching enemies in order to stay alive.

[Space] Button enables your Character to dash in the direction of your cursor.

Over time you will be able to unlock new Spells, that can be exchanged with your starter Spells in the Main Menu.

If the enemies feel a little too strong, try doing a few more runs and power up your character by picking up loot.

If you listen to the music of the Deep and use abilities in sync with them, you will empower your attacks in different ways.

Figure out powerful combinations or try to get far enough to unlock already combined Spells.

Enjoy your trip into the Lost Waters!
